Before you travel: message us
A 1–1.5 hour journey is hard on a sick pet. Send a short video and your pet’s age, weight and symptoms on WhatsApp (01783-121256) first. Our vet will tell you whether it’s safe to wait, what to do at home, or whether to leave now — and we’ll be ready when you arrive.
What’s worth the trip to Rangpur
- Surgery — spay/neuter, wound repair, caesarean sections, pyometra
- Same-day lab tests — blood counts, biochemistry, and rapid tests for panleukopenia, parvo, FIP and FIV/FeLV
- Vaccination from a proper cold chain, with a health check first
- A second opinion when treatment elsewhere isn’t working
Making the journey easier
- Use a covered carrier — never a loose cat in a vehicle.
- Travel early morning or evening in summer; bring a towel and water.
- Bring previous prescriptions and test reports.
- Don’t give a big meal right before the trip if your pet gets travel-sick.
